Cosplay and the Spider Lily

Today after doing some school work, I took a walk to a nearby park to photograph the spider lilies. I was greeted by the warmest of surprises… A small group of Cosplay girls and a few Japanese photographers were there with the same idea. Usually when you run into these women, they are surrounded by hundreds of rather pushy observers, but today there were only about ten of us in the entire park.
With a bow and a smile, I began to talk with the girls and the photographers. After a few minutes, I was welcomed into their group. The girls were very eager to pose for me. We did do a lot of laughing at my terrible Japanese… It was a fun day…
