The “Blue City” of Morocco
This 15th century city of Morocco is one of the true beauties of Africa. However, the question remains, why is Chefchaouen painted blue? There are many theories and superstitions about this ranging from a method of keeping the mosquitoes away to a sign of independence and pride of the countries Jews. Some simply say there is no hidden meaning. It just represents the color of the sea. Whatever the reason, the city is unique and beautiful!
