Life in Tokyo

A major thing one notices when visiting Tokyo is the difference between the hustle of the work day and the tranquility on the streets during the off-hours. This dichotomy between work and play is one reason I love this country.
One goal I had with my camera while living in Japan was to try to capture a glimpse on this unique approach to life. Henri Cartier-Bresson, the famous French photographer, described it as the “Decisive Moment.” It is my hope that my collection of some decisive moments while walking the streets of Tokyo somehow convey a truth of life in this beautiful city.
